Johnny Depp’s reaction to his Pirates of the Caribbean character, Captain Jack Sparrow, being mentioned during the Amber Heard defamation trial has gone viral.
The moment happened when the actor’s sister, Christi Dembrowski, took to the stand to be questioned by Heard’s lawyer.
She was reportedly asked: “When was the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie released?”

In response, Dembrowski said: “I think it was in 2003.”
When she was then asked what her brother’s role was in the movies, she added: “He was Captain Jack Sparrow.”
At this moment, it appeared to Depp’s fans as though he smiled at the memory of his past accomplishment.
Surprised by the touching moment, some took to Twitter and shared their thoughts.
One tweeted: “The way Johnny Depp loves Captain Jack Sparrow so much just absolutely melts my heart.”
“I think it’s because he actually got to play a role that’s closest to resembling him in real life,” another said.
“Johnny Depp is [a] child at heart and Captain Jack Sparrow in real life,” a third agreed.

Elsewhere in the trial, the Hollywood star’s doctor appeared through a pre-recorded deposition.
Dr. David Kipper recalled the moment ‘Depp’s fingertip was found on the kitchen floor’.
The physician reportedly claimed that the alleged incident took place in March 2015 when the former couple was in Australia.
He went on to allege that he had spoken to Heard on that same day and she informed him that her now ex-husband ‘threw her into a tennis table and also pushed her into a fridge,’ which was rejected by Depp.
Dr Kipper claimed that despite her claims, he could see no injuries on the Aquaman star.
