Amber Heard appeared emotional as Johnny Depp’s alleged text messages were read aloud in court.

When the Pirates of the Caribbean star returned to the witness stand on May 25, he addressed some claims made by his ex-wife when being cross-examined.

At one point, Heard’s team brought up an alleged message to a friend from February 2017, which supposedly involved him discussing s** with another woman.

It apparently read: “I NEED. I WANT. I TAKE.”

After it was read aloud, Depp testified that he did not send the message. He went on to claim that someone else had sent it, or that it had been doctored in some way.

He told attorney Ben Rottenborn: “Sometimes you give your phone to people and they text from it.”

A supposed text message from August 15, 2015, was then shown in the courtroom. In it, the now 58-year-old allegedly said that Heard was ‘begging for global humiliation,’ following their divorce and the actress’s restraining order against him.

The alleged message apparently read: “I have no mercy, no fear and not an ounce of emotion, or what I once thought was love for this gold-digging, low level, dime a dozen, mushy, pointless dangling overused flappy fish market… I’m so f***ing happy she wants to fight this out!!! She will hit the wall hard!!! And I cannot wait to have this waste of a c** guzzler out of my life!!!”

Reportedly, it went on to refer to Heard as a ’50 cent stripper,’ before allegedly adding: “I wouldn’t touch her with a goddam glove. I can only hope that karma kicks in and takes the gift of breath from her.”

To viewers of the high-profile case, it appeared as though Heard appeared tearful at this point.

When the alleged text messages were previously brought up in court, the actor testified that he was ‘not proud’ of his language and that he had a ‘dark’ sense of humour.
