16 And Pregnant star Jordan Cashmyer has died, aged 26.
According to TMZ, The MTV reality TV star’s father, Dennis Cashmyer, announced the tragic news on Facebook.
In a statement, he said: “Last night I received a call no parent ever wants.

“My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old. Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER.
“Please keep my family in your thoughts prayers as we navigate through this terrible tragedy. Please understand and respect our privacy at this time.
“We are surrounded by the love and support of our children, granddaughter Lyla and family members.”
Many have taken to the comments section and shared tributes to the young mum.
One person penned: “I am so sorry to hear about Jordan’s passing. My heart goes out to the entire family. Sending love and prayers your way.”
Another added: “I am truly sorry for your loss. There are no words. You and your family are in my prayers.”
“I am so sorry, no greater loss than that of a child. Praying for your family. God bless,” a third Facebook user commented.
At the time of writing, Cashmyer’s cause of death has not been revealed.
The 26-year-old shot to fame on 16 And Pregnant in 2014, alongside her then-boyfriend, Derek Taylor.
The MTV series documented her struggles with homelessness and unemployment and how her family disowned her because they did not approve of her relationship.
That same year, the former couple welcomed their daughter, Genevieve Shae Taylor, but ended up calling it quits soon after.
At some point after having her child, Taylor’s family reportedly got shared guardianship on a temporary basis.
Later on, the reality TV star allegedly ‘signed away custody rights’ of her daughter, and left the spotlight.
