Justin Bieber has teamed up with a cannabis company called Palms to create a range inspired by his hit song ‘Peaches’.

Following the release of his weed-inspired single earlier this year, the 27-year-old and the California-based firm decided to make marijuana more ‘approachable’ by selling ‘pre-rolled joints’.

In a statement emailed to Bloomberg, Bieber said he wants to make cannabis more appealing for people who feel it is ‘helpful for their mental health’.

He stated: “I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatise it – especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health.

“I wanted to make sure that I was doing something with them that felt genuine, and Peaches felt like a good place to start.”

According to Palm’s website, the brand sells the products in seven-joint packs and various strengths.

The company claims a portion of the proceedings will be donated to a veteran’s charity and an organisation that aims to free people who were incarcerated for possession of marijuana.

Previously, the pop star opened up about his drug use during an interview with Vogue.

He said: “Weed was something that I felt people tried to make me feel bad for enjoying, but I’ve now found a place in my life for weed products that have been beneficial in my human experience.”

However, Bieber has also admitted in the past that he’s used drugs as a ‘numbing agent’.

In his 2020 YouTube series, Seasons, he confessed to the situation getting ‘legit crazy scary’.

“People don’t know how serious it got,” he said. “I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day.”
