Justin Timberlake is being trolled over a tweet he recently shared about Britney Spears.
The 40-year-old dated the pop superstar for around three years in the early noughties.
However, after their breakup, Spears was vilified by the media and Timberlake capitalised on this by releasing songs about their relationship and making derogatory comments about their sex life in interviews.
Earlier this year, following the release of a documentary titled Framing Britney Spears, he put out a statement saying he was ‘deeply sorry’ and admitted he ‘failed’ his ex-girlfriend.

He’s now tweeted about her once again following her leaked testimony about her conservatorship.
His post reads: “After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time.
“Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right.
“No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.
“No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.
“Jess and I send our love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time. We hope the courts, and her family make this right and let her live however she wants to live.”
However, Spears’ fans are not impressed and have insisted they ‘remember what he did’ to her.
One angry person wrote: “The fact that it took you this long to say anything when Britney literally made your career? Performance activism at its finest.”
Another added: “You are literally one of the reasons this entire thing even started but okay bro try to make yourself seem like a good guy if that makes you feel better about yourself.”
A third penned:” Buddy…sometimes it’s better to not say anything. I know you’ve grown, but you’re complicit here.”
