Bo Ram was born on March 1, 1994, in Seoul, South Korea, and found critical acclaim and a loyal fanbase throughout her career.

She released her debut single ‘Beautiful’ in 2014.

The singer said the inspiration behind her song was her journey of losing 66 pounds – leading to concerns being raised by experts over the track’s message to listeners.

Bo Ram said (via NPR): “I think a lot of people, after listening to this song, were motivated to exercise more, lose weight, and diet.

“I think a big reason is because I put my story into it. Like, one banana, two eggs – eating just that, and you see the results in me, and that was motivating for people.”
