Toddlers and Tiaras star Kailia Posey has tragically died, aged 16. 

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by the teenager’s mother, Marcy Posey Gatterman.

On Facebook, she stated: “I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone.

“Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever.”

At the time of writing, Posey’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

Many of the teen’s fans have taken to comments and paid tribute to the TV personality.

One wrote: “There are no words for the amount of pain that y’all are feeling. Know that your pageant community and others are with you.”

“I just don’t have words for the pain you’re going through! Praying for you and your family. I am just so so sorry,” another commented.

Paying tribute, a third simply said: “Fly high beautiful Kailia.”

A pageant speaking coach also penned: “I have experienced a lot of loss in my life, but this one stings differently. Kailia was one of the funniest and funniest young ladies that I have ever worked with in my coaching career.

“We just exchanged some fun messages recently and she seemed up in spirits. She had such an open carefree spirit that had to catch fire everywhere that she went.”

Posey shot to fame on the hit TLC show Toddlers and Tiaras, which follows kids and their parents as they compete in beauty pageants.

The 16-year-old became viral after appearing on the programme, as a gif was created in which she is shown grinning mischievously at the camera.
