Kat Von D has addressed her ‘three years of celibacy’.
The celebrity tattoo artist told Loudwire Nights that she made the decision in order to ‘focus on herself’ and avoid ‘dysfunctional relationships’.
On the radio show, she said: “Prior to Rafael [Reyes], I was in nothing but dysfunctional relationships.”

She added: “I don’t have a type. My type was like, I guess you could say daddy issues.
“For some reason, I dated a lot of guys that had a lot of abandonment issues, and that in turn would reflect into how they treated who they dated.”
Von D continued: “That’s when I took about, at one point, three years of celibacy where I was like, ‘I’m not gonna date, I’m not gonna be intimate with anybody and just really focus on myself because I’m tired of seeing the same movie over and over again.’ Those things have to happen.”
Speaking of Von D, the 40-year-old has been hit with a tattoo lawsuit.

Reportedly, the beauty mogul has been sued by a photographer for using an image in 2017. Apparently, he has alleged that Von D infringed copyright and violated his intellectual property by using the photo.
Lawyers for the star are believed to have responded with file papers that read: “Holding tattoo artists civilly liable for copyright infringement will necessarily expose the clients of these artists to the same civil liability anytime they choose to get tattoos based on copyrighted source material, display their tattooed bodies in public, or share social media posts of their tattoos.
“That is not the law and cannot be the law.”
