Kathy Griffin, 61, has requested fans’ help with her cancer scan after allegedly being ‘ghosted’ by her doctor.

The American comedian recently took to Instagram and said she needs to know her ‘post-operation situation’.

Griffin claimed: “OK, I know this is crazy but I cannot get an oncologist on the phone and the surgeon who did my half of lung removal has ghosted me.”

Continued, she added: “I’m putting my scan results on Instagram in hopes that somebody will put it under an oncologist’s nose and send me some sort of interpretation in English of what’s going on with my post-operation situation!

“Social media can be used for good, dammit!”

Another added: “I’m a cancer survivor (YEAH!) and in my experience reading hundreds of scan results etc, it appears there is no evidence of disease at this time.”

“That’s a pretty good-looking report Kathy (as someone who worked in imaging). Sorry, you’re going through this and sending you love, one Chicago girl to another,” a third reassured.

Griffin’s other followers took to the comments section and pointed out that this is an example of how ‘bad’ the US healthcare system is.

One fan said: “If a famous multi-millionaire is going through this… just imagine what people with no money or means go through! Glad Kathy shared, this is a great example of how bad our healthcare system is!.”

Agreeing, a second wrote: “Shockingly irresponsible. I’m so sorry Kathy.”
