Katie Price, 43, has been handed a 16-week suspended prison sentence for driving while disqualified and intoxicated, it has been revealed.
According to ITV journalist Rebecca Berry, the mum-of-five was told she was ‘incredibly selfish’ and ‘deserved to spend Christmas in prison’.
However, as the former glamour model had complied with the terms of a deferred sentence, she could only be handed a suspended one.

She was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service and up to 30 rehab sessions.
It’s believed that her driving ban will also be kept in place for two years, and she will not be able to take an extended driving test.
Before being sentenced, District Judge Kelly reportedly told the former glamour model: “When you chose to get behind the wheel that night you showed no concern for others.
“You could have killed somebody.
“Your actions meant the emergency services had to use up their precious time. You knowingly and deliberately flouted a court order and not for the first time.
“You seem to think you are above the law.”
Katie Price Left With ‘Split Eye’ After Allegedly Being ‘Punched In Face’ At Her Home
Before being given her sentence, the Daily Mail reported that Price was ‘terrified’ at the thought of spending Christmas in prison.
A source told the publication: “The devastating reality of her situation is starting to hit home and Katie is terrified.
“It’s a reality she has never faced before, which is understandably unnerving.
“It’s not just herself who she’s worried about, it’s the potential reaction of her children.
“She can’t stop thinking about it and is full of dread, but has been planning as if she is going to have a normal Christmas for the kids as a distraction.”
