Katie Price’s sister, Sophie Price, has defended the reality star’s drink-driving sentence on social media.
The former glamour model was handed a 16-week suspended prison sentence on December 15 for driving when drinking and intoxicated earlier this year.
She was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service and attend around 30 rehab sessions.

Since Price’s sentence has been announced, many people have taken to social media and insisted it is far too ‘lenient’.
One of the people who questioned the sentencing took to Instagram and asked Sophie Price: “Aren’t you embarrassed sometimes?”
In response, she asked what would she have to feel embarrassed about, and they replied: “Her being your sister for one.”
Price then said: “No, actually, I’m not embarrassed!
“I have a sibling who’s taken responsibility for her actions…rightly so, and has been extremely honest and open about her mental health.”
It’s believed that before receiving her sentence, the mum-of-five was feeling ‘terrified’ at the thought of spending Christmas behind bars.
A source told the Daily Mail: “The devastating reality of her situation is starting to hit home and Katie is terrified.
“It’s a reality she has never faced before, which is understandably unnerving.
“It’s not just herself who she’s worried about, it’s the potential reaction of her children.
“She can’t stop thinking about it and is full of dread, but has been planning as if she is going to have a normal Christmas for the kids as a distraction.”
