Katy Perry’s former boyfriend has responded following her candid admission that he was ‘better in bed’ than her current fiancé, Orlando Bloom.
The ‘Dark Horse’ singer has been engaged to the British actor since 2019, yet it appears that her past relationships hold a special significance in certain aspects of her romantic life.
Perry and Bloom have certainly had their share of public moments, from that famous paddleboard photo to the cheeky exchange where Perry jokingly offered Bloom a … favor in exchange for completing a mundane chore.
However, their relationship has not always been smooth sailing.
The couple briefly split in 2017, just ten months after they started dating, a period during which Bloom apparently did not make the best impression in the bedroom department.
And now, Perry has savaged Bloom by naming the celebrity ex who beats him in the bedroom.
This revelation came during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where Perry participated in a segment called ‘Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.’
This segment challenges celebrities to either answer a probing question or consume something unappetizing.
During the segment, Corden prompted Perry to rank her exes based on their performance in bed, specifically asking her to place John Mayer, Diplo, and Orlando Bloom in order.
Initially hesitant to respond, Perry eventually decided to share her thoughts rather than eat a ‘1,000-year-old egg.’
While she described all three men as ‘exceptional,’ she eventually made her decision – and we can’t imagine Bloom is too happy with the results.
She ranked Mayer at the top, followed by Bloom, with Diplo coming in last.
Perry humorously added: “Gentlemen, I love you and you know that I love you, and it’s not about that, it’s just maybe I just haven’t had enough time to have sex with you.”
Perry and Bloom have been a couple since 2018, and while Bloom has not publicly commented on her rankings, Mayer did offer a response during an interview with Rolling Stone.
The ‘Free Fallin’’ artist simply stated: “I don’t have a cool enough thought for you.”
In contrast, Diplo, who had a brief romance with Perry in 2014, made a more cutting remark on X, saying, “I don’t even remember having sex.” Ouch.
Despite Perry’s past remarks, it seems that Bloom may have regained his status in the bedroom. The couple appears to be happy together, and they welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, into the world on August 26, 2020.
Their relationship has blossomed since reuniting, suggesting that the spark between them is still alive.
