The adaptation for ‘Devil In The White City’ has been in development for over a decade.

Originally DiCaprio’s bought the rights for the book, with the plan to turn it into a movie starring himself along with Scorcese directing it.

However, in 2019 it was rumoured that it was going to be a TV series instead.

The story revolves around Daniel H Burnham, who Reeves is believed to be playing, and Dr H H Holmes, who is known as America’s first notorious serial killer.

Fans of the actor have shared their excitement about this casting on social media.

On Twitter, one user posted: “This a huge win Keanu!”

Another fan commented: “That was a really good book, so I’m glad to see this series finally come around. Little sad that Reeves likely won’t be playing Holmes, but his inclusion is still fantastic news.”

A third said: ”I love Martin Scorsese. I love Leonardo DiCaprio.I love Keanu Reeves. There is literally no way this will be bad. Even if it is, it isn’t.”

There have been no further updates on the show, so fans will have to wait a while before they can see this collaboration on screen.
