Clarkson’s Farm fans have slammed actor Kelvin Fletcher for ‘ripping off’ the show with his new BBC programme, Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure

It debuted on January 17 and follows the Emmerdale star and his family as they move to a 120-acre plot of land near the Peak District.

Although many people took to social media and said they enjoyed watching it, others accused him of ‘copying’ Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime project.

Find out why Jeremy Clarkson ‘drank himself silly’ here…

One Twitter user wrote: “So the BBC sack off @JeremyClarkson and then rip off Clarkson’s Farm with Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure? That is absolutely shameless @BBC.”

Jokingly, another said: “When you order Clarkson’s Farm on Wish.”

So basically Kelvin Fletcher, who’s got the personality of a doorknob, is trying to jump on the Clarkson’s Farm bandwagon,” a third penned. “Unoriginal and dull.”

A fourth fumed: “Didn’t the BBC turn down the original plan for Clarkson’s Farm? They said no initially and now are copying it. Typical.”

However, many people have shared their praise for Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure.

“That was funny. Enjoyed that,” one viewer tweeted.

Another added: “Love it. Just gutted it was only on for 30 minutes. Should have been an hour.”

It’s believed that Fletcher’s new BBC series will consist of six episodes and will show the TV star delving into agriculture life.

The actor will be joined on the farm by his wife, Liz Marsland, and their kids, Marnie, 5, and Milo, 3. They also have 28 sheep, with plans to increase the flock to ‘about 80’ by 2022. Plus, they have their three pigs, three alpacas, and two rabbits.
