Kelvin Fletcher’s farm show, Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure, has left viewers horrified after it showed him feeding a slaughtered lamb to his kids.
In the latest episode of the BBC series, the former Emmerdale star took his ‘pet’ to the slaughterhouse and later on, its carcass was presented to him.
Fletcher then returned home and showed his daughter Marnie, aged 5, what the lamb’s remains look like.

He said: “What do you think? Can you believe that was your lamb?”
Not long after, his family all enjoyed a lamb dinner, to the disgust of many viewers at home, who branded it ‘inappropriate’.
One person tweeted: “The taking of the lamb to the slaughterhouse was completely inappropriate. I don’t understand how Kelvin and Liz could sit there enjoying eating the lamb they’ve reared for months and is now on the table.”
“I found it so sad that you took the lamb off to slaughter, then ate him… I could never do that to an animal I’d looked after,” added another.
A third pitched in, writing: “No! Your lamb won’t be ‘okay’. Neither will it be ‘looked after’. Kill it and Eat it! But please be real.”
However, others jumped to Fletcher’s defence and argued what did they expect to happen on a farm.
“I don’t understand why people are moaning. It’s a farm. What did they expect?” one viewer questioned.
Fletcher has previously faced a backlash over his BBC farming show as it’s been branded a ‘rip off’ of Clarkson’s Farm.
After watching an episode of the programme, someone joked: “When you order Clarkson’s Farm on Wish.”
In agreement, a second said: “Unoriginal and dull.”
