On September 9, a day after the tragic news of Her Majesty’s passing broke, the Good American star took to Instagram and uploaded a snap of herself wearing her branded swimwear range.

She captioned the post: “A few weeks ago…”

In the comments section, many people told the Kardashian it was ‘inappropriate’ to be posting such content amid news of the Queen.

One told the reality star: “The queen just passed away. Go put your clothes back on.”

“The Queen just died mate…,” added another.

A third wrote: “You know the Queen just died right.”

Someone else said: “How rude. Our Queen died.”

“Our Queen has died,” a fifth penned. “Not the time to be posting this, to be honest.”

Despite the backlash, Kardashian hasn’t removed the image.

When news of the Queen’s death initially broke, Kardashian took to social media and posted a lengthy tribute.

She said: “It’s a sad day for the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and the world.

“All of us should admire the Queen’s exemplary sense of duty and her commitment to her people. Such an incredible woman and an inspiration to us all, she will always be remembered as someone who lead with dignity, grace and nobility over her 70 years as Queen.”

Kardashian continued: “There is so much change in our world, and to have the Queen as a constant presence, to me, always brought a sense of comfort and peace. She truly graced the world and there will never be another like her.

“All of my love and prayers are with The Queen’s family, and my sympathies are with the British people and the Commonwealth. God bless the Queen and may she Rest In Peace. She is with her Prince now.”
