Resurfaced footage shows Khloé Kardashian opening up about attending one of Diddy’s infamous parties amid the hip-hop mogul’s arrest.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 54, is a rapper, record producer, and record executive credited with discovering and developing musical artists such as the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher.
The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ rapper is currently in federal custody, accused of operating an empire of s**ual crime that dates back to at least 2008.
Combs’ attorney says he is innocent and he has pleaded not guilty.
At one point, tickets to Combs’ parties were among the most sought-after invites in the entertainment industry.
With guests such as Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey in attendance, it was an opportunity to mix shoulders with some of the world’s biggest celebrities.
Rob Shuter, who reportedly worked for Combs during his fame peak, told the BBC: “When Diddy winked at you and said come into the VIP section, you knew you were going to have a really good night.”
But in November 2023, the narrative swiftly changed.
‘Long Way 2 Go’ singer Casandra Ventura, known as Cassie, who dated Combs for more than a decade on and off, settled a lawsuit against the rapper in which she accused him of r*** and s**ual trafficking, for an undisclosed sum, per the BBC.
Combs’ lawyer stated the settlement was ‘in no way an admission of wrongdoing.’
“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,” the rapper stated. “I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
Following the lawsuit, a wave of s**ual abuse allegations came forward, resulting in several business setbacks for Combs.
In December 2023, Combs released a statement on Instagram denying all the mounting allegations.
“I did not do any of the awful things being alleged,” the post read (per AP News). “I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”
In March 2024, the rapper’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami would be raided by Homeland Security Investigations in regards to s** trafficking allegations.
His lawyers described the raids as ‘a gross use of military-level force’ and stated Combs is ‘innocent and will continue to fight’ to clear his name.
In the following months, CNN aired footage of the rapper attacking Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016 – the video closely mirrored an assault as described in her lawsuit.
This marked Combs’ first real acknowledgment of any wrongdoing, as he posted a video in which he apologized: “My behavior on that video is inexcusable.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now.
“I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry.”
According to a motion filed by Combs’ attorney, the rapper traveled to New York in September 2024 and checked into a Manhattan hotel in anticipation of indictment and turning himself in.
Although the hip-hop artist’s attorney says he made arrangements to turn himself in, Combs was arrested first following a grand jury indictment.
The indictment against Combs was unsealed – he was described as being the head of a criminal enterprise that engaged or attempted to engage in s** trafficking, forced labor, interstate transportation for purposes of pr**titution, drug offenses, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.
Amid the indictment’s release and the wave of allegations against Diddy, discussion surrounding his frequent and high-profile parties has circulated.
In particular, a comment made by reality TV star Khloé Kardashian has gone viral.
A throwback episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians shows Khloé talking with her older sister Kourtney about going to a Diddy party.
In a 2014 installment titled Secrets of a Double Life, Khloé recounts: “I got on a plane at 5.30 a.m. Well, this party… I think half the people there were butt-naked,” teasingly, she adds: “You would have loved it.”
Kourtney asks her sister: “Who was with you this weekend?”
To which Khloé says she was with a ‘bunch of friends,’ then listing: “Diddy. Quincy. Justin Bieber…”
