Kim Kardashian has been branded ‘problematic’ for using a new Drake song on her Instagram story.
The Kardashians star is no stranger to controversy, whether it be facing accusations of photoshopping her social media pics, or insisting that she’s never had plastic surgery.
However, it now seems she has added another one to the list.

The SKIMS owner shared an Instagram story of herself at a red carpet event and while the photo itself is not problematic, the song choice has raised some eyebrows.
One of Drake and 21 Savage’s new tracks ‘Circo Loco’ was used to accompany the photo.
The song features the lyric: “This b**** lie ‘bout getting shot but she still a stallion / She don’t even get the joke but she still smiling.”
The lyric is a reference to rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who was shot by her ex-boyfriend Tory Lanez.

However, it seems that in the song, Drake is accusing the artist of lying about the incident.
Now Kardashian is facing backlash from fans for including the song in her post.
“There’s no excuse for Kim here, I love Kim but she has to be more responsible,” one fan wrote.
Another person commented: “Kim reposting a Drake song that has lyrics making fun of Meg Thee Stallion getting shot is problematic.”
Other fans mentioned that Kardashian would more than likely be aware of the incident since the shooting happened at Kylie Jenner’s own party.
“It’s beyond f*****. Especially since Meg was leaving a party at Kylie’s when it happened. F*** Kim,” added a third fan.
Another user said: “Meg Thee Stallion got shot, Kim don’t [give a f***] and the crazy thing about it is that Kylie was with Megan that night prior to her getting shot, she only cares about engagement and clout.”
The incident took place back in 2020 at Jenner’s pool party when the rapper was leaving.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the ‘WAP’ singer stated: “On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”

Speaking to Rolling Stone this year, Megan further addressed the shooting and she was portrayed in the media.
The ‘Savage’ rapper added: “In some kind of way, I became the villain. And I don’t know if people don’t take it seriously because I seem strong.
“I wonder if it’s because of the way I look. Is it because I’m not light enough? Is it that I’m not white enough? Am I not the shape? The height? Because I’m not petite?
“Do I not seem like I’m worth being treated like a woman?”
Megan has also addressed Drakes’s apparent reference to the incident in his new song on her Twitter page, saying how all the male rappers are standing behind Lanez for being male.
