One of Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbers has blamed the reality TV star for the gunpoint hotel heist back in 2016.
Yunis Abbas, who spent almost two years in prison for the $10million crime, has said he feels no guilt for the ordeal the mum-of-four was put through.
He told VICE: “Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that. Guilty? No, I don’t care.”

Referencing the Kardashian and other celebrities, Abbas continued: “They should be a little less showy towards people who can’t afford it.
“For some people, it’s provocative.”
The robber, who is in his sixties, was one of 12 involved in the heist. He claimed he and the gang used the internet to track down the Kardashian’s whereabouts after she flaunted her wealth on social media.

Reportedly, Abbas stayed in the downstairs area of the hotel to keep an eye out, while his co-conspirators tied up the now 41-year-old in her room’s bathtub.
The robber recalled: “Madame Kardashian’s secretary called for help. But she called 911 in the United States, which scared us, which made them lose a lot of time. And when we got out, there was a bunch of police outside who didn’t know anything about the robbery.”
Abbas acknowledged to VICE that the businesswoman must be ‘traumatised’, commenting: “You don’t come out of it unscathed.”
In 2020, Kardashian appeared on the My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman series and discussed the incident in an emotional interview.
Recalling the ordeal, she said: “I kept on looking at the concierge because I didn’t know who he was. I’m like, what is happening? Are we going to die?
“Just tell him I have children, I have babies, I have a husband, I have a family, I have to get home.
“Tell them take anything – I’ll never say I saw them, take everything.”
She continued: “I saw him have a gun out to me, and I was like, ‘OK, this is it’.

“I just kept on thinking about Kourtney. I kept on thinking she’s going to come home, and I’m going to be dead in the room – and she’s going to be traumatised for the rest of her life if she sees me.”
Discussing the aftermath, Kardashian added: “I definitely took a year where I got really paranoid of people knowing my whereabouts.
“I didn’t even want to go to a restaurant, because I thought someone will know I’m at this restaurant. They’ll take a picture, they’ll send it, they’ll know my house is open, they’ll know that my kids are there.”
