Kim Kardashian has been slammed as ‘disrespectful’ after she visited Vatican City wearing a revealing dress.
The 40-year-old rocked up to the religious site – which prohibits sleeveless and low-cut clothing – in an off-the-shoulder sheer Barragán dress that was made complete with hip cutouts.
On Twitter, one person fumed: “Kimmy, have you no decency? We understand you are decorum absent, but must you find it necessary to parade your assets in this manner at the VATICAN? Disrespectful…”

Another wrote: “Went to the Vatican in a see-through dress?”
“Uh… I had to buy a scarf to go into the Vatican to cover my shoulders because I had a sleeveless shirt on. There is no way that they let her in the Vatican without her shoulders covered,” a third said.
However, Kardashian has insisted she did adhere to the rules and ‘fully covered up’ when she stepped inside the chapel.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “We had the most incredible experience touring Vatican City @vaticanmuseums. It was amazing to be able to view all of the iconic art, architecture and ancient Roman sculptures in person, especially Michelangelo’s works. We even had an opportunity to view their private archive of robes worn by every pope in history, dating back to the 1500s. Thank you @ocspecial for arranging the visit.”
She added: “(Don’t worry, I adhered to the dress code and fully covered up while inside St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel).”

Kardashian recently opened up about how she is planning to tone down her raunchy outfits for the sake of her children.
During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion show, she insisted that her bikini photos will come to an end one day.
She explained: “I don’t want to embarrass my kids. Or make them feel a way if they’re in high school and the embarrassing mum that’s like, posing in selfies in bikinis. There will be limits.”
