Kris Jenner has been slammed for posting pictures of the gifts she received for her birthday in the wake of Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert which left eight people dead.
The Kardashian family matriarch, whose daughter Kylie Jenner is expecting her second child with rapper Scott, celebrated her 66th birthday the same day the incident took place.
Taking to Instagram, Jenner thanked her daughter Kourtney’s fiancé, Travis Barker, for sending her flowers, writing: “Travis, love you! Thank you for my beautiful birthday flowers!”

The floral arrangement had been sent with a message that read: “Love you and hope you have the best day!”
Jenner’s daughters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, also sent her gifts, as did makeup guru James Charles.
Fans were left fuming at the reality star’s posts and took to Twitter to call her out for posting them.
One person wrote: “Is this family really that disconnected from reality? I feel uneasy about the contrast between Kris Jenner showing off her birthday roses and the current situation in Houston.”
Another added: “It’s Kris Jenner posting photos of hundreds of birthday flowers when teenagers have died for me. Clearly read the room.”
While third said: “Wow, the Kardashians and Jenners celebrating Kris Jenner’s birthday while making no statements in regards to AstroWorld says a lot.”

“I would hate to be Kris Jenner right now. I don’t even know how they’re gonna clean this one up. The amount of lawsuits this is gonna create alone,” a fourth penned.
The incident saw eight victims die in a crowd surge as the rapper performed on Friday, and it’s been reported that organisers will now be sued over the deaths.
Responding to the tragedy, Scott took to social media to say: “I am absolutely devastated by what took place last night.
“My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.”
