Kyle Rittenhouse has vowed ‘to sue Whoopi Goldberg and other celebrities, politicians and athletes’ who reportedly ‘said he was a murderer’.
The 19-year-old shot two men during an anti-police rally in Kenosha in August 2020 but claimed that he acted in self-defence and was found not guilty of first-degree intentional homicide at trial.
Speaking to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, he said he plans to hold ‘everyone who lied about him accountable’.

Rittenhouse told the journalist: “Me and my team have decided to launch the Media Accountability Project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court.”
After being asked if he would ‘sue any news organisations,’ the teenager replied: “We are looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg is on the list.
“She called me a murderer after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers. She went on to still say that, and there’s others.”
At this point, Carlson asked him: “What about the people who called you a white supremacist? It makes it pretty hard to get a job for the rest of your life if you are a white supremacist.
“Will you be responding to them?”
Rittenhouse replied by saying: “Absolutely. We’re going to hold everybody who lied about me accountable, such as everybody who lied called me a white supremacist.
“They’re all going to be held accountable. And we’re going to handle them in a courtroom.”

Over on Twitter, one user blasted him, writing: “How about trying to go to school, get a job and support yourself instead of trying to sue your way into an income on the fame you gained from luckily getting off.
“You should be grateful and move on.”
Another rubbished the claims, commenting: “Anyone else think that this will go nowhere and he’s just saying it? *six months later* ‘Yeah, we’re going to sue them all very soon’.
