Lady Gaga’s dad has reportedly been left feeling ‘sick’ over the shocking incident that saw the singer’s dogwalker shot four times and two of her French bulldogs stolen.
Joe Germanotta is now ‘praying’ for the safe return of the pets, named Koji and Gustova, and has reportedly said it feels ‘like someone took one of your kids’.
He is believed to have told the New York Post: “We’re just sick over it, it’s really horrible.”

Germanotta has claimed that he’s already spoken to his daughter, who is currently shooting a movie in Italy, ‘several times’ since the incident. He said that she’s been left distraught by the situation.
He reportedly told her: “Just try to be strong and remember that they’re together. They’re comforting each other.”
In another interview with Fox News, he added that he’s frustrated by the ‘horrible people’ in LA who would ‘steal dogs’.
The singer’s dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, was apparently shot four times in the chest on Wednesday night outside his home in West Hollywood, and two of the three dogs he was out with were stolen.
He is currently recovering in hospital.
According to TMZ, Fischer took the animals for a walk just before 10pm and was approached shortly after by the criminals, who then shot him and fled.
The suspects have been described as two black males who were wearing baseball caps. They reportedly fled the scene in a white BMW and are believed to be still on the loose.
Currently, there’s a $500,000 ‘no questions asked’ reward for the safe return of Koji and Gustavo.
