‘Locktober’ is the new hot bedroom trend that everyone is talking about, and it could be something you want to partake in.
While you might have heard of ‘No Nut November,’ a hot new bedroom trend is taking the internet by storm – and it may be right up your street.
‘Locktober’ is a brand new trend which has caught traction on Reddit, with a huge community on the platform participating.
It’s an annual challenge which started as a joke on fetish forums, but has since grown into a full-blown season.
It’s been named the 2025 Fetish of the Year, after sales of related content spiked 71 percent in one year.
Nebraska and Pennsylvania, US, are where the trend is most commonly searched for.
Google searches for ‘Locktober’ are breaking records this year, which means more and more people are getting to know exactly what it’s about.
Some people do it for discipline, some for control, but others participate purely for the kick.
Here’s the concept – ‘Locktober’ keeps g**itals locked up until November.
But it’s not as boring as it sounds, in fact, it’s quite the opposite.
For the 31 days of October, people participating in the challenge willingly padlock their g**itals for the entirety of the month.
We’re talking cages, belts, padlocks, you name it.
The Reddit community has taken the trend a step further, and it’s now complete with hashtags, leaderboards, and people bragging about how long they’ve gone without.
Avery Martin of Clips4Sale, a fetish marketplace, explained: “Denied org**m, the entire body becomes an erogenous zone.
“Chastity is ultimately about submission and, as millions of people are discovering, giving up control can be incredibly s**y.”
Meanwhile, men across the world are competing in the month after for ‘No Nut November.’
It involves a similar concept, denying themselves of any s**ual activity for the entire month of November.
This is more restrictive, given that it’s not rooted in a chastity fetish.
Adult star director Aiden Starr once pointed out the hilarious overlap, addressing that those with a kink and alpha males are basically chasing the same dry spell in very different costumes.
Advice for those wanting to partake in ‘Locktober’ includes taking the challenge one day at a time, being comfortable, practising good hygeine, and don’t do it alone.
But on reflection, it may be a tricky task to find someone willing to dedicate the entire month of October to this challenge with you.
