Doctor Reveals Disturbing Reason Why You Shouldn’t Go On A Cruise ‘Anytime Soon’
A doctor is warning people not to go on a cruise ‘anytime soon’ for one disturbing reason.
Cruises can be a popular vacation choice for many, the ability to travel the world with the convenience of only having to unpack luggage once.
For some, they would never choose to go away unless it’s a cruise with all-inclusive benefits and an ocean view.
However, Dr. Rubin has revealed on TikTok the one terrifying reason why a cruise shouldn’t be your next vacation destination.

It’s safe to say his statement has divided many people in the comment section.
One person writes: “Cruises are wonderful! Why so much hate?”
Another adds: “Sorry, but I love cruising. I already have two booked for this year.”
Some, however, agree that they will avoid ships at all costs.
A TikTok user chimes in: “You could not pay me to go on a cruise.”
“Nothing about being on a boat around other people appeals to me at all. No, thank you,” agrees another.

Dr. Rubin, a pediatrician, shares his knowledge about allergies and how to combat them.
In a recent video, he detailed why he won’t be boarding a cruise: “Here’s why you’re not gonna see me on a cruise ship anytime soon, and I encourage people to consider this before they book a cruise.”
The doctor shared that the recent cuts made to federal agencies will also impact cruise ships.
He explained: “Well, one of [the cuts] is to the CDC’s (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) vessel sanitation program, which conducts health inspections on cruise ships at least twice a year, and they trace outbreaks to help reduce the chances of more people getting sick.
“These cuts make no sense because it’s not funded by taxpayer dollars.
“Then cruise ships pay for these health inspections, so it’s not like we’re saving any money from the taxpayers’ perspective.”

The professional reveals that this year alone, there have been 12 norovirus outbreaks on cruise ships, compared to eight from the previous year.
The Coral Princess cruise ship experienced an outbreak during a 16-night Panama Canal cruise, which caused 69 passengers and 13 crew members to contract the virus.
According to the CDC, this is the second outbreak of the virus on the cruise liner this year.
CDC defines norovirus as a ‘very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea.’
Yale Medicine also states a strain named GII.17, which was once uncommon in the U.S. (so fewer people have a strong immunity to it), has become increasingly dominant in the country.
