Identical Twins Who Are Engaged To The Same Man Answer The One Question Everyone Asks
Identical twins who are in a relationship with the same man have answered the one question everyone always asks.
Australian sisters Anna and Lucy DeCinque have become international sensations for their extraordinarily synchronized lifestyle.
The identical twins from Perth don’t just share clothes, career goals, and cosmetic procedures, they share a fiancé, Ben Byrnes, an electrician they’ve both been dating since 2011.
The sisters, who call themselves the ‘world‘s most identical twins,’ have appeared on TLC’s reality show Extreme Sisters, where they’ve opened up about their unconventional relationship and the extremes they go to maintain their identical lives.

The unconventional relationship
Ben proposed to both sisters during a romantic park picnic in an episode that captured hearts and raised eyebrows, The Independent reports.
He presented each twin with matching rings featuring three bands, symbolizing the three of them. The engagement came after more than a decade of dating, during which Ben has consistently treated both women equally.
“He always treated us equally. He never separates us, and he doesn’t want to take us out separately,” the twins explained.
They shared that if Ben kisses one sister, he immediately kisses the other, maintaining perfect balance in their relationship.
The trio’s dynamic works because Ben accepts them completely. As Anna noted: “Ben accepts us, he doesn’t mind that we dress alike and want to be together, he doesn’t judge us.”
Lucy added that they always have each other’s backs, creating a ‘two against one’ dynamic where Ben receives ‘double the love, double the attention.’

About Anna and Lucy DeCinque
The extent of the twins’ synchronized lifestyle goes far beyond typical sibling closeness.
They shower together, eat identical portions of food, and even time their bathroom visits to coincide.
“If she goes to the toilet I have to go at the same time because we eat and drink the same,” Lucy explained, per This Is Money. “We’re just never apart.”
This meticulous coordination extends to every aspect of their daily lives.
“It’s stressful being us, we have to measure our plates, everything has to be identical,” they admitted.
They work the same job—one for a salary and the other as a volunteer for legal reasons—and complete each other’s sentences or speak in perfect unison.
The sisters have spent nearly $250,000 on cosmetic procedures over the years to maintain their identical appearance, including lip fillers, breast implants, facial tattooing, and various other treatments.
Though they later reversed some of these procedures after feeling they’d overdone them, their commitment to looking alike remains unwavering.

Dreams of motherhood
During the second season of Extreme Sisters, Anna and Lucy explored their shared dream of becoming pregnant at the same time.
They even did a trial run with lifelike baby dolls to prepare for potential motherhood. However, they’ve faced challenges, with one sister experiencing difficulty conceiving.
“We feel like we’re one person. We can never, ever be apart and we would never choose to be,” they said, explaining that they’ll be happy whether or not they become mothers, as long as they experience the same thing together.
If they do become pregnant, they’re considering IVF to increase their chances of simultaneous conception.
“There’s a lot of pressure on Ben,” they acknowledged, noting it would be ‘Ben’s job’ to make their dream happen.
Their mother has encouraged them to give birth naturally, though they admitted uncertainty about how that would work.
Legal barriers to marriage
While the trio is engaged, they cannot legally marry in Australia, where polygamy is banned under the Australian Marriage Act 1961.
“We would like to marry him one day but the law in Australia says we can’t, so what do we do?” they asked.
Ben has promised he’s ‘willing to do whatever it takes’ to make them happy, and the sisters have suggested they might explore getting married in other countries or jurisdictions where their union could be recognized.
“If we can change the law and the government, we’d love to marry Ben,” Anna said. “I mean love is love, we’re all adults—we should marry the same man.”

The question everyone asks
Given the intimate nature of their relationship, there’s one question that inevitably arises: how does their s** life work?
On Australian TV programme Hughesy, We Have a Problem, the sisters finally addressed this topic directly.
They revealed that they sleep in an oversized king-size bed, ‘about six inches more’ than standard, with Anna and Lucy on either side of Ben.
When host Dave Hughes asked if they were both present when the other had s**, they confirmed: “Yes.”
The sisters explained that they take turns being intimate with Ben, but both remain in the bed during these moments. “There’s no jealousy in the relationship,” Lucy explained. “If Ben will kiss Anna, he will kiss me, Lucy.”
The sisters have faced significant criticism for their lifestyle choices, with social media users often leaving judgmental comments on their posts. However, they remain steadfast in their conviction that their arrangement works for them.
“People need to accept it. Maybe people don’t agree with it, but we’re not hurting anyone. Love is love. That’s what we’ve always said,” they stated.
“This is what works for us. People need to get that, we’re not hurting anyone and this is what works for us in this relationship, so we’re really happy with Ben.”
“The show’s made us more extreme,” they said. “It made us realize how much we love each other and really can’t live without each other. And we work as one person.”
“This is how we want to live our life,” the pair concluded. “We want to grow old together, die together.”
