The daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Lilibet, could ‘inherit jewellery from Princess Diana worth hundreds of thousands of pounds,’ it has been reported.

According to experts, Steven Stone, the toddler is likely to possess not just her mother’s jewellery, but that of her late grandmother too – which they estimate to hold a value of £410,000.

The Mirror spoke to diamond experts Maxwell Stone, who detailed some of the pieces that could fall into Lilibet’s ownership.

They said: “Worth £150,000, Meghan’s stunning bracelet is composed of 18k white gold, set with 104 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 4.50 carats, and 52 baguette-cut diamonds totalling 5.61 carats.

“Worn by Meghan on her wedding day, this would be a heartwarming piece for Lilibet to inherit that she could possibly pair with her own wedding dress in the future.”

One piece belonging to Markle is the Asprey Aquamarine ring, which previously belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales.

The experts estimate that this piece is worth between £75k-£85k and was only ever worn by the late Royal twice.

Prince William And Kate Middleton’s Message To Meghan Markle Sparks Backlash

As well as this, Lilibet may inherit a £25k gold cuff bangle of her late grandmothers, now owned by Markle, along with numerous other pieces of Cartier jewellery.

While Princess Diana’s ‘iconic’ engagement ring was given to Kate Middleton by Prince William when he proposed in 2010 – Markle’s ring features three stones from her late mother-in-law’s collection.

Speaking after his engagement to Middleton, Prince William said of the ring: “I had been carrying it around with me in my rucksack for about three weeks before that and I literally would not let it go, everywhere I went I was keeping hold of it because I knew this thing if it disappeared I would be in a lot of trouble and because I’d planned it, it went fine.

“You hear a lot of horror stories about proposing and things going horribly wrong – it went really, really well and I was really pleased she said yes.”

Middleton apparently called it ‘very special’.
