Lindsay Lohan will be making her comeback in the upcoming Christmas movie Falling For Christmas.
The Mean Girls star, who previously took a break from acting, is set to end her hiatus with the holiday film, which will soon be available to stream on Netflix.
The synopsis for Falling For Christmas, which is directed by Janeen Damien, reads: “A young, newly engaged heiress has a skiing accident in the days before Christmas.
“After she is diagnosed with amnesia, she finds herself in the care of the handsome cabin owner and his daughter.”

As well as Lohan, the movie will also star Chord Overstreet (Glee), and Lohan’s younger sister, Aliana Lohan.
Since its first trailer has been released, fans have been discussing it on social media, with many praising Lohan.
One person shared: “I haven’t even seen the movie yet and I’m already in the nostalgic moments of adolescence watching Lindsay’s movies. I hope she gets back on her feet and then grows as an actress.”
“I’ve missed this Lindsay Lohan. Glad she’s back!!! More Netflix projects for her,” added another fan.

A third person gushed: “I might actually have to go buy hot chocolate and a fuzzy blanket to enjoy this Lindsay Lohan seasonal treat.”
Someone else added: “This looks cheesy as hell, and I absolutely can’t wait to watch it.”
“You know what, this looks pretty good, especially considering it’s a Netflix Christmas movie!” a fifth said.
Lohan also seems to be excited at the prospect of starring in a holiday-themed, romantic comedy.
Speaking at Netflix’s TUDUM event, the Parent Trap star said: “It’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy and I miss doing those kinds of movies.”
Lohan also revealed that she enjoyed shooting this film as she actually got to do her own stunts.
She added: “All the stunt scenes were really fun for me because I haven’t gotten to do that much in a lot of my films.
“[Like] flying off the hill, attempting to ski well and not doing it.”
Despite enjoying learning how to ski, Lohan went on to admit that she’s not very good at it.
Falling For Christmas is set to be the first of two collaborations between Lohan and its director, Damien.

The second film they will do together is called Irish Wish which, according to Netflix, will be a ‘romantic comedy with a supernatural twist’.
The streaming platform said: “[It] will star Lohan as a bridesmaid who makes a magic wish that turns her into the bride, only to realise that may not be what she really wants.”
Netflix also mentions it will be the first film of Lohan’s creative partnership with the streaming giant.
Falling For Christmas will be available to stream on Netflix from November 10.
