Lindt has launched a brand new Lindor flavour of salted caramel truffles, that will definitely take lockdown snacking to a whole new level.
The Swiss chocolatier has announced a brand new flavour of Lindor choccies, the salted caramel truffles have a smooth chocolate case which encases a silky caramel flavoured filling.
Easter may have passed us but that doesn’t mean chocolate lovers can’t indulge on the latest edition in the Lindor range, which is available at selected Tesco and Morrison stores – where the boxes are available to buy for £5.
If you’d prefer to buy in bulk, then you’ll be happy to know that Amazon is also stocking up on the chocolate treat.
The new chocolate flavour was first spotted by Newsfooduk Instagram account and the post has now racked up over 8,000 likes from delighted fans of the chocolate brand.
Fans were quick to share their excitement at the new launch.
One person commented: “OMG! I’ve just cried a little.”
Whilst one simply put: “Game changer.”
A third person replied to the post: “Good lord! I need these bad boys!”
One slightly more frustrated fan said: “I love the Lindt truffles and salted caramel is one of my favourite flavours. How have I managed to miss these?!”
The Swiss-based was founded in 1845 and has become renowned across the world for its range of truffles, chocolate bars and other delicious sweet concoctions.
In July 2014, Lindt bought Russell Stover Candies, maker of Whitman’s Chocolate, for approximately $1 billion (£765m), which is the company’s largest acquisition to date.
The company mostly operates in Europe, where it has factories based in Germany, France, Italy and Austria.
