Lisa Kudrow has revealed that there was a special moment in the Friends reunion that fans missed.
In an interview with E! News, the 57-year-old opened up about something that happened between Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc.
“Well, Courteney comes in and bursts into tears,” Lisa recalled. “And I grab a napkin or tissue.
“LeBlanc takes it because he is telling us a story and doesn’t want to skip a beat and starts dabbing her eyes, just on automatic.”
Reflecting on the group’s unique bond, she added: “That’s who we were!”
It’s previously been shared by Jennifer Aniston that Courteney rarely gets emotional, but she felt that the reunion felt like ‘a sucker punch to the heart’.
On the SiriusXM show, Aniston explained to Gayle King: “It was for all of us, I think.
“Even Courteney, we got tears out of! And I don’t even know – she’s so, you know, not emotional.”
The 52-year-old continued by saying that the reunion – which didn’t feature Paul Rudd – was ‘romanticised’ in the six actors’ heads.
Although the special went down well with fans, Aniston faced backlash earlier this week when she shared an unseen selfie from the event.
The actress captioned her post: “Still basking in all the love from the #FriendsReunion. Thank you each and every one of you.”
But many of her followers were left fuming over one photo which shows David Schwimmer sat on the famous orange sofa alongside Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey.
One person wrote: “No reason for Hailey and Justin Bieber to be there.”
“I do wish it was longer though, with more cameos rather than Bieber and others,” another fan remarked.
A third questioned: “I still don’t understand why Justin Bieber was there?”
