Madonna’s son has opened up about how wearing dresses feels ‘so freeing’ to him.
David Banda, 15, recently appeared in a video on his famous mum’s Instagram account and could be seen wearing a Mae Couture white silk dress.
The post was captioned: “Confidence is everything.”

In the clip, the teenager can be seen striding across a room as he enthuses about the dress.
He is then heard saying: “I low-key like wearing [it]. Like, it’s so freeing. You know what I mean?”
Since being shared on social media, the musician’s son has received tons of praise from her followers.
One fan gushed: “David is everything.”
Another added: “Wear what sets you free.”
“The apple does not fall far from the tree… to have revolutionary Madonna as a mother!” a third wrote.
A fourth fan said: “Oh my god I love him. Watch out Naomi Campbell!|”
In a 2019 interview with British Vogue, Madonna opened up about her relationship with David, who she adopted from Malawi back in October 2006.
She said: “What he has more than anything is focus and determination.”
“I’m pretty sure he got it from me. He’s the one I have the most in common with. I feel like he gets me; he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far. Let’s see what happens – it’s still early days for everyone.”
The American singer has five other children. She has two biological children, Lourdes Leon and Rocco Ritchie, and three more adopted kids; Mercy James, Estere Ciccone, and Stella Ciccone.
