Malibu has launched a new Watermelon flavour which has been ‘made for summer’.
Ideal for cocktails, it comes in a 750ml bottle for the bargain price of $13.99 on totalwine.com.
For now, there hasn’t been any info on when the drink will hit UK stores. But we’ll be sure to let you know when it does!
Wetherspoons Urges Pubs To Reopen ‘To Save Jobs’
The iconic drinks brand recently released a statement announcing the arrival of the brand new flavour which they’ve promised has a ‘ripe, juicy and refreshing’ taste.
It read: “Introducing the newest addition to the Malibu range — Malibu Watermelon!
“Caribbean Rum blended with the ripe, juicy and refreshing taste of Watermelon flavour and a smooth and fruity finish, Malibu Watermelon is made for summer!
“For chilled moments with friends, simply add soda and share, or stir things up with a Malibu Watermelon Mojito.”
Malibu dropped the ‘Strawberry Spritz’ last year, which was a huge hit with rum lovers.
UK marketing director Phillip Ainsworth said in a press releas at the time: “Summer is a key time for the Malibu brand as its target consumer looks for Instagrammable, sweet, yet refreshing drinks to enjoy during social occasions.
“Malibu Strawberry Spritz provides an additional element of theatre as it can be popped like a bottle of prosecco yet enjoyed and garnished like a pink gin and tonic.
“Malibu Strawberry Spritz is 11% ABV and retails for about £9.50 (just shy of $12 USD).”
