Matt Hancock and Gina Coladangelo ‘are now living together,’ days after their affair was exposed.

Apparently, the pair, who were photographed in a ‘steamy clinch,’ want to give their relationship ‘a proper go’.

A neighbour of Gina and her husband Oliver Tress, told The Sun: “Gina and Matt are giving it a proper go and Olly was left reeling.

“They had lots of friends here, so we are all trying to help look after Olly.”

Hancock’s wife, Martha, is also said to have been left devastated by the shock news as she was under the impression that she was in a ‘happy’ and ‘stable’ relationship, reports The Sunday Times.

The former Health Secretary reportedly sat her down the night before the story broke and confessed what had been going on. He then woke up their kids to inform them he was leaving.

The next day, he announced he was resigning.

In a video shared on Twitter, he stated: “I’ve been to see the Prime Minister to resign as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.

“I understand the enormous sacrifices that everybody in this country has made, that you have made, and those of us who make these rules have got to stick by them and that’s why I’ve got to resign.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson responded to his resignation, saying he believes Hancock ‘should leave office very proud of what you have achieved – not just in tackling the pandemic, but even before Covid-19 struck us’.

He added: “I am grateful for your support and believe that your contribution to public service is far from over.”
