Maya Jama had BRITs viewers ‘distracted’ during Tuesday night’s award ceremony due to her ‘risky’ dress.

The 27-year-old presenter left very little to the imagination in a black outfit, which was apparently inspired by singer Cher, that featured large cut-out details.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Maya Jama looks absolutely INSANE tonight.”

“Maya Jama looks absolutely stunning,” added another.

A third penned: “Maya Jama most beautiful woman who’s ever lived I fear.”

Jama co-hosted the live show alongside Mo Gilligan.

At one point, the comedian pointed out the huge diamond ring on her finger, despite the fact the presenter has not officially confirmed her engagement to her NBA star boyfriend, Ben Simmons.

He said: “Maya I can’t have you here without talking about that amazing rock on your finger.”

She then quickly pulled her hand behind her back, before he added: “That is the size of a small studio bedroom flat in London, I’m telling you!”

He then said: “It looks fantastic, you’re working it.”

Making it clear she didn’t want to talk about it on camera, Jama replied: “Okay, let’s move on.”

The ceremony featured performances from Ed Sheeran, Sam Fender, Little Simz, and Adele.

The latter caused a stir when she took a swipe at the fact the Artist of the Year category has been made gender-neutral during her acceptance speech.

The ’30’ singer said: “I really wasn’t expecting this one at all. I want to say a massive congratulations to Little Sims. Dave, Ed, Sam, I’m so proud to be in your company.

“I love being an artist. I can’t believe it’s my job. England, the UK, we have so many incredible young artists coming up.

“I understand why this has changed, but I really love being a woman and a female artist. I’m really proud of us.”
