McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac will be available to order from this month in the US after it sold out in the UK within just 10 days.

A spokesperson for the fast-food chain told Insider: “We’re always looking to give our fans more ways to enjoy the classic menu items they know and love.”

It was reportedly added: “While not everything we test makes it on our US menus, we’ll use this time to gather feedback from both customers and restaurant crew as we consider opportunities to offer more delicious options in the future.”

The Chicken Big Mac will be available for US customers – or at least those located in Miami – for a limited time only, as a part of a taste test.

It’s made up of two crispy chicken patties, Big Mac sauce (which goes without saying), gherkins, shredded lettuce, and American cheese.

After hearing the news, fans have taken to Twitter and reacted.

“This is the news I’m here for,” one user tweeted.

“Yes indeed! I would love to try this,” added another.

A third commented: “Heck yes, this sounds good.”

Earlier this year, McDonald’s had a huge amount of success when it dropped the Chicken Big Mac on its UK menu. Apparently, it sold out five weeks earlier than planned.

At the time, the chain’s Twitter account posted: “Well, that escalated quickly.

“Your love for the limited edition Chicken Big Mac knew no bounds and it’s sold out almost everywhere.”

After hearing it was being pulled from the UK menu earlier than planned, fans took to Twitter and came up with a solution.

One suggested: “Just buy two Chicken Mayos.”

Agreeing, another added: “Are they not just two Chicken Mayos put together?”
