McDonald’s Monopoly is officially set to return this summer!
The fast-food chain took to Instagram on March 22 and confirmed that the promotion is coming back once again.
The announcement read: “The news you’ve all been waiting for… Monopoly returns Summer 2021.”

Fans have taken to social media and celebrated the exciting news.
One foodie wrote: “Oh yes, what we all need right now.”
Another tagged their friend, commenting: “Maccies every Tuesday?”
“Thank you for saving our summer,” a third commented.
A fourth said: “The moment everyone’s been waiting for has arrived…”
“Getting Maccies so much this summer,” another admitted.
Last year, the annual competition was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Confirming the news, a spokesperson said that ‘safe working and social distancing’ made it too difficult, along with the already increasing ‘pressure’ on employees due to the pandemic. So we’re all buzzing that it’s back!

It’s a highly popular promotion run by McDonald’s, which involves customers purchasing qualifying products that come with peel-back stickers.
With some of these, there is an ‘Instant Win,’ whereas others require a code that can be used to potentially win even bigger prizes.
Others even come with ‘Collect To Win’ stickers, which means customers will need at least two or three to have a chance at winning something.
In the past, the fast-food chain’s customers have won a wide range of stuff, from a free meal to even £100,000 in cash.
At the time of writing, it’s not clear what will be up for grabs in this year’s competition.
