Medical Student Takes On 10,000 Calorie Full English Breakfast Challenge

A medical student from New Zealand recently took on a 10,000 calorie English breakfast challenge which is not for the faint-hearted.

Nela Zisser, 28, often posts videos on YouTube of herself taking on crazy food challenges and has a successful series titled ‘Girls Vs Food’.

For the breakfast video, she cooked up baked beans, grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, six fried eggs, six poached eggs, has browns, bacon, and toast.

To begin with, Nela scooped up some of the scrambled egg and slapped it on a piece of toast which she said tasted ‘really good’.

She then attacked the baked beans even though she’s not a fan of them.

Speaking to the camera, she said: “Now I don’t like baked beans, but you guys complained last time I did an English breakfast that I didn’t put baked beans on it.

“So this time I’m going to eat them and just face my fears.”

Despite struggling with the ‘sweet’ taste of them, she gobbled them all down before moving on to the rest of the meal which she attacked with ease.

After ten minutes, the bottom of the plate became visible and she showed no signs of slowing down.

Seven minutes later the final item, a mushroom, was placed into her mouth and the meal was over.

Celebrating her achievement, she said: “Alright, so that was a big English breakfast eaten in 17 minutes and 46 seconds. Now I obviously wasn’t going for speed, I just wanted to enjoy it.”

Fans of the 28-year-old praised her efforts, with one person writing: “I like how she eats without pressure at all. And she’s not a messy eater as well.” (Always a plus!)

Another added: “Blimey, can’t believe how easy that was made to look.”
