Mia Khalifa Opens Up About Adult Career On Diary Of A CEO

TikTok and Instagram star Mia Khalifa says she was used ‘like a toy’ in the adult film world.

The former adult star, 30, is one of the biggest names to come from the industry – despite only making 11 films in three months.

Since leaving the business, Khalifa has tried her hand in a number of different professions including being an author, podcaster and even a sports broadcaster.

Her popularity has seen her amass a huge following and she uses her platform to speak about her time in the adult film world.

Appearing on Steven Barlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, Khalifa – who now prefers to use her birth name, Sarah Joe Chamoun – candidly speaks about how she was treated by her toxic ex-husband.

She married a former US soldier who pressured her to join the industry when she was only 20 years old.

Khalifa describes the relationship as something that ‘a lot of girls get into when they’re in their teens’.

The former adult star then goes as far as to say that she doesn’t consider it a relationship as she viewed herself as a ‘toy to play with’.

She continues: “I even feel weird calling it a relationship, because the dynamic was not one of a relationship – it was more one of someone who saw a toy to play with.”

Speaking about her marriage on the podcast, Khalifa reveals that she eloped shortly after her 18th birthday.

She adds: “I got talked into eloping to Las Vegas four days after my 18th birthday.

“I didn’t have a sense of self so I attached myself to someone who was more than happy to abuse that and someone who could see that and see someone easily manipulatable.

“But at the same time [I was] eager to please. It was just the perfect storm.”

Khalifa has previously gone viral after discussing men and what they expect from their partner in the bedroom.

In an interview with journalist Stephen Sackur for BBC’s HARDTalk, she said: “It affects relationships, and p*** addiction is very prevalent – the things men see in the videos and expect from the women in their lives is not reality.

“No one is going to do those acts on a Wednesday night with the ones they love.”

In the interview, Khalifa also admits that she wanted to work in the adult film industry as it was her ‘dirty little secret’.

But before she knew it, she was the most-viewed performer on P***hub in two months.

Khalifa also found herself as the most talked about adult star in the world too – due to the controversy she caused in the Middle East after she appeared in a video wearing a hijab.
