A man who claims he was abused by Michael Jackson when he was seven years old is set to go to trial over the allegations.

Wade Robson, now aged 40, is going to trial against MJJ Productions, Inc., the late singer’s corporation.

The California Court of Appeal has granted approval for Robson’s lawsuit, which accuses Jackson’s corporation of m***station.

According to a report by TMZ, the alleged abuse, as claimed by Robson, occurred between the ages of seven and 14 at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.

A previous trial in 2021 in Los Angeles County had dismissed the case, but the Court of Appeal has now issued a tentative ruling to bring the case to trial.

Judge Mark A Young, in the earlier ruling, stated that the companies accused by Robson, including MJJ Ventures, had no control over Jackson as he had complete ownership of them.

Lawyers for MJJ Productions have also argued that the company had no legal obligation to protect Robson or others since they had no control over Jackson.

Vince Finaldi, Robson’s attorney, has expressed his intention to appeal the decision.

Robson, a choreographer, provided a description of his alleged experience with Jackson in court documents.

He detailed that he had moved from Australia to the US as a child and crossed paths with Jackson at the age of five.

Robson appeared in the documentary Leaving Neverland in 2019, in which he and James Safechuck, whose case was also dismissed in 2021, detailed the alleged abuse they suffered.

The Michael Jackson estate dismissed the film as ‘yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in’ on the singer.

Jackson was arrested and indicted on ten counts, including lewd conduct with a minor, conspiracy to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion involving a separate minor in 2003.

In early 2005, he went to court and was found not guilty of all charges.

During the trial, Robson initially stated that he had slept in the same bed as Jackson but nothing inappropriate had occurred between them.

However, eight years later in 2013, he changed his story and filed a lawsuit against Jackson’s company, claiming that his previous testimony had been the result of complete manipulation and brainwashing.

The news of the upcoming trial coincides with Paris Jackson, Jackson’s daughter, sharing a Father’s Day tribute to her late father.

On Instagram, she posted a rare photograph featuring herself and her two siblings, Prince and Bigi (formerly known as Blanket), alongside their father, the King of Pop.

This past Sunday marked the 14th anniversary of Jackson’s passing.
