Michael Jackson’s youngest son, who is known as ‘Blanket,’ has reinvented himself and given himself a new nickname.
Born Prince Michael Jackson II in 2002, he was immediately thrust into the spotlight when his famous father held him out of a hotel balcony in Paris in front of fans and paparazzi, which is where the nickname stemmed from.
However, now 20 years old, ‘Blanket’ goes by the name of ‘Bigi’ and, along with his two older siblings Prince and Paris Jackson, lives a quiet life outside the public eye.

The three of them made a rare public appearance last year when they appeared on Good Morning Britain to announce they are taking action against climate change.
In the build-up to COP26 Summit, Bigi mentioned how important it was for the current generation to fight against it. He said: “I think we have some work to do, but our generation knows how important it is.”
Viewers on social media were quick to praise them for their attitude.
On Twitter, one user wrote: “So wonderful of [them] to realise and speak up about climate change. It’s very real sad we all must come together to slow it down as much as possible. For our children, our grandchildren and future generations.”
Another added: “Bigi has been passionate about environmental, economic and social justice since he was little and he got it from his dad. Super smart kid.”
Finally, another user tweeted praised their father for the impact he had on his kids by writing: “Everyone wanna point out that balcony incident or is MJ their biological father or not. BUT nobody wanna point out how MJ beautifully raised his children. Polite, well manner personality, open-minded, stand for a good cause. MJ played his role as a father perfectly.”
