Miley Cyrus Reacts To Her Sister Dating Her Mom’s Husband
Miley Cyrus is said to have spoken of a reported relationship between her sister Noah and her mom’s husband, Dominic Purcell.
Say what you like about the Cyrus family but they know how to bring the drama.
Since Miley’s parents Billy Ray and Tish ended their almost thirty-year marriage, their new relationships have caused controversy.
Billy Ray Cyrus went viral after becoming engaged to a much younger woman he met on the Hannah Montana set – who he has since divorced.
But even weirder is Tish’s new relationship.
It’s been reported that her new husband used to date her daughter, Noah, and now Miley is said to have reacted.
Billy Ray and Tish share daughters Brandi, Miley, and Noah, and sons Trace and Braison.
Their split caused major division within the family.
Tish publicly announced her engagement to Australian actor Purcell in April 2023 and tied the knot in Miley’s Malibu home in August of the same year.
Many fans noticed some notable absences at the ceremony – Noah and Braison were not in attendance, sparking rumors of a rift.
Eagle-eyed viewers reportedly saw that Noah posted photos on Instagram of herself with her brother Braison, who had flown to California to see her during her mom’s wedding.
Fans believed these pics were a covert message of support for their dad.
Noah even wore a Billy Ray Cyrus T-shirt on her mom’s wedding day.
However, a source has alleged Tish’s daughter wasn’t invited and there’s a shocking reason why.
A source alleged to Us Weekly that Tish actually ‘stole’ her new hubby from her daughter, Noah.
“Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him,” says the source, who claims that Tish ‘was aware’ of the situation.
“The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.”
An insider tells People: “Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up,” adding that ‘Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.’
The insider notes: “Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.”
A source told Us Weekly that Tish and Dominic are ‘working on communication and sought therapy together’ amid the fallout from the Noah drama.
It appears Noah and Tish are also working on their relationship – when it came to Tish’s birthday Noah posted a message for her mom on Instagram reading: “Happy Birthday Mom,” despite the ongoing rumors of tension between them.
The pair have reportedly been spotted spending time together in Los Angeles too.
Following reports of this alleged scandal, many wondered what Miley would think of the whole situation – it appears we now know.
An insider claims: “Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all. She confronted her mom about it. She thinks it’s a strange situation, but she loves her mom and wants her to be happy.”
