Miriam Margolyes has claimed Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘farted in her face’ on the set of the 1999 supernatural action movie End of Days.

The Harry Potter actor made the hilarious admission while appearing on the I’ve Got News For You podcast.

She claimed the actor ‘did it deliberately’ and said she has never ‘forgiven’ him for it. However, the moment was not caught on film as it happened between takes.

Opening up about the supposed incident, she said: “He’s a bit too full of himself and I don’t care for him at all. He’s a Republican, which I don’t like.

“He was actually quite rude. He farted in my face. Now, I fart, of course, I do — but I don’t fart in people’s faces. He did it deliberately, right in my face.

“I was playing Satan’s sister and he was killing me, so he had me in a position where I couldn’t escape and lying on the floor. And he just farted.

“It wasn’t on film, it was in one of the pauses, but I haven’t forgiven him for it.”

Fans have been reacting to the story on Twitter.

“I saw that movie,” wrote one person. “He farted in all of our faces.”

Another penned: “Oh, Arnold, how could you?”

End of Days also stars Gabriel Byrne, Robin Tunney, and Kevin Pollak.

The film follows former New York Police Department detective Jericho Cane (Schwarzenegger) after he saves a banker (Byrne) from an assassin.

The film grossed $66,889,043 in the United States and about $212million worldwide.

According to reports, Schwarzenegger received a salary of $25million for his role.
