A model has reportedly been left temporarily blind after having her eyeballs tattooed, but says she has ‘no regrets’.

Sarah Sabbath, from El-Paso, Texas, claims she can’t watch TV or be near bright lights and doesn’t want to go outside after the incident.

The 26-year-old told the YouTube channel Truly that she’s been left ‘very, very depressed’.

Opening up, she said: “When I got my eyes done, the guy didn’t put enough saline solution into it.

“There was too much ink and not enough water solution so I went blind from my eye tattoos.

“I had a very difficult time doing anything – I could not watch TV, I didn’t like being around bright lights and I didn’t like being outside.

“I got very, very depressed from it.”

Sabbath is finally starting to feel better from the ordeal as she’s been prescribed several eye drop medications.

Despite everything, the model believes the experience has made her a ‘better person’.

The influencer, who has over 26,000 followers on Instagram, claims she’s spent around $4,000 on her body ink overall.

Sabbath says the tattoos have helped her to express herself, as she lacked self-confidence at high school from being bullied.

She explained: “I was bullied a lot because I’m very hairy. I had bushy eyebrows, I had hairy legs, my teeth were very crooked.

“I don’t regret getting any of the tattoos because I feel more myself now than I did then.

“The pain I endured getting tattooed made me feel stronger about myself – I feel like a better person.”

A similar case took place last year when a woman from Poland found herself permanently blind after getting her eyeballs inked black

The tattooist used body ink and unintentionally disabled the 25-year-old, according to reports.
