Molly-Mae Hague, who was branded ‘tone-deaf’ after speaking about her success in a podcast, is being trolled over a caption she shared while announcing her upcoming autobiography, titled ‘Becoming Molly-Mae’.
The influencer took to Instagram on February 12 and shared a series of stories about the ‘huge project’, with a slide that read: “I could cry with exciting that I’ve finally been able to tell you all.”
After seeing the post, many of her followers took to Twitter and mocked the caption for its typo.

One tweeted: “Love Molly-Mae announcing her book and then writing ‘cry with exciting’ on her story.”
Another added: “Molly-Mae announces her book then next story writes ‘cry with exciting’. Imagine paying £20 for a book written like that.”
“‘Could cry with exciting’,” a third quoted. “This gal was allowed to publish a book for f*** sake.”
A fourth joined in, writing: “Molly-Mae’s book gonna be one big spelling mistake.”
Unfortunately for Hague, this wasn’t the only thing that people mocked her announcement for, with many remarking that the 22-year-old is quite ‘young’ to be releasing a book about her life.
“Not looking to slander Molly Mae but she’s 22,” a person tweeted. “How has she written a book ‘Becoming Molly-Mae’? You’re 22, you haven’t even become you yet.”
In agreement, a second said: “Molly-Mae writing an autobiography at 22 is mad because what she gonna write? ‘I was pretty and already well off, went on Love Island and it made me rich’. End of book.”

When revealing that she’d been working on the autobiography, Hague told her followers: “And it is literally, this is my baby.
“We have honestly put so many months of work into this book you have no idea and it’s been such a journey and such an adventure, venturing into this whole new world of writing a book.
“It is something that I have always, always wanted to do.”
