Morrisons Is Delivering £35 ‘Ration’ Food Boxes That Includes Loo Roll

Morrisons is now going to be delivering £35 ‘ration’ food boxes which will include essentials such as loo roll and bread to help support Brits during the coronavirus crisis.

With a selection of 20 items, the food box is able to feed up to two adults for one week and will come in vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

The content of the box will depend on what’s available, but Morrisons claims that the typical meat eater’s box will include everything from canned beans to meat and vegetables.

You will be able to prepare basic meals with the Morrisons box.

The food box will contain products that are valued at around £30, with the £5 extra being for the delivery fee. It may sound a little expensive, but if struggling to stock up on those essential products to put a meal on the table then this is incredibly handy.

The scheme only launched a few days ago but has been popular with shoppers, with slots having already gone. However, Morrisons has assured that new slots will be being made available every day. So far, the supermarket hasn’t clarified a specific time.

If this sounds like something you’d need during this difficult time, then you’ll be happy to know that Morrisons will even be opening up a call centre on Monday, March 31 to deal with the bookings over the phone.

You can make sure to choose a delivery date that will suit you too, Morrisons says it can deliver the very next day if you make sure to put in your order before 3 pm.

Below is the list of what a typical Morrisons Box might include:
