A mum has deleted her influencer daughter’s social media accounts that had 1.7million followers.
Fernanda Rocha Kanner is the parent of Valentina, who goes by the name Nina Rios, and she’s decided to teach her child a lesson in life by erasing her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
In a chat with Fantastico, the mum admitted that it was a ‘drastic’ decision but said she didn’t approve of her 14-year-old being an influencer.

Kanner, who has 116,000 followers on Instagram, said: “It’s hard enough for you to find out who you are at 14 years old.
“When there are two million you’ve never seen in your thinking they know you, it’s even more dangerous. It’s easier to lose yourself.”
She continued: “I don’t think it’s healthy even for an adult and much less for a teenager to base her self-discovery on online feedback.”
The mum said she was spurred to delete the teenager’s profiles when she realised the page was full of ‘identical selfies and little dances that anyone can do’.
Kanner also said she didn’t want her daughter ‘believing she’s this character’ and becoming a ‘trained baboon’.
She added: “It’s a sad generation for which this counts as fame.”
Valentina has also had her say on her mum’s decision, admitting that initially, she was ‘quite angry’.
The teen commented: “I obviously wasn’t very happy.”
She then said that although she plans to get back on social media, she’s not in a hurry.
“I’ll choose. At the moment, I don’t want to. It’s going to be something that’s only going to get in my way and it will only make it worse,” Valentina explained.
