A nail technician has been slammed on social media after ‘applying acrylic nails on a 12-year-old’.
The nail artist, who is known only as Lorena, took to TikTok and showed off the rainbow-themed set in a clip.
She captioned the post: “Baddest 7th grader out hereee.”
Since being shared on the platform, the post has received a whopping 4.8million views.
However, thousands have taken to the comment section and said it’s far ‘too much’ for a young girl to be wearing to school.
One viewer wrote: “You’re wrong for letting her go to school like that.”
Another added: “She’s still a baby… If they were shorter and kid-appropriate then okay.”
“Definitely not appropriate for someone in middle school,” a third pitched in.
However, some people said that everyone was ‘overreacting’ and it was a really ‘cute’ design.
One TikToker said: “Your age shouldn’t say what nails you can get and which ones you can’t. If she can do everything with the nails and have good grades pop off.”
In agreement, a second wrote: “Bro, I wish I had nails like these in 7th grade. Oh my God, you’re so sweet for giving her this experience.”

After sharing the clip, the nail technician replied to the comments and clarified that her younger sister can still do ‘everything’ she’d normally be able to do, despite having such long talons.
Lorena penned: “Before y’all ask, she can do EVERYTHING with nails. We wouldn’t let her wear them if she didn’t know how to handle them.”
