ITV Filming New Series Of Gordon, Gino And Fred: Road Trip

A new series of Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip has been confirmed by Fred Sireix after it was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

First Dates star Fred Sireix has revealed that a destination has already been chosen for the next series of Road Trip and the trio – Fred and chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo – are planning on hitting the road in 2021.

Usually, the series sees the trio travelling together and getting on each other’s nerves – for our entertainment – as they take in different cultures and cuisines.

Fred said: “Yes, it’s happening. We’ve put the route and the travel plan together, we’re going to go next year.

“I can’t wait to get started. I can’t say where, but we’ve got the destination. We’re putting the trip together no and it’s looking pretty good, I have to say.”

Apparently, the new series will be “a bit longer” than their journey to America for a month, which took place in series two.

When it was reported that COVID-19 would mean that production would need to be put to a hold, an insider told The Sun that it was set to be “their most adventurous trip to date”.

However, “Asia is going to be firmly off the cards for some time”, with filming planning to take place in 2021.

Meanwhile, ITV has confirmed that I’m A Celebrity will be being filmed in the UK instead of Australian jungles. According to an ITV spokesperson, the show will be set in a ruined British castle as it “just wasn’t possible” to film abroad due to the ongoing pandemic.
