A New York estate agent has taken to TikTok to show off the city’s ‘worst apartment’.
The property is in the West Village and is available to rent for an extortionate price.
In the clip, the estate agent says: “People have been asking me what’s the worst apartment [in New York] I’ve ever seen. I’m about to show you.”

He then goes on to reveal it costs a whopping $1650 a month to rent. But viewers couldn’t believe it when he said that this was just the cost for one room, with no bathroom in sight.
The realtor then confirmed that it doesn’t come with an oven, stove, or freezer, despite the hefty price.

The clip has been liked 3.6 million times so far, with over 52,000 taking to the comments.
One TikToker joked: “Bathroom is Starbucks three blocks away.”
“That’s not an apartment, it’s a compartment,” another pitched in.
A third said: “It’s seriously cheaper to live in a hotel.”
According to renthop.com, the average rental cost in the West Village is $3,250 for a one-bedroom property.
