Adult Star Facing Murder Charge After X-Rated Act Goes Horribly Wrong
Adult performer Michaela Brashaye Rylaarsdam has been charged with murder after a man died following an alleged X-rated encounter.
The OFs star, 31, was reportedly arrested last month, some two years after the death of 55-year-old Michael Dale.
Rylaarsdam has now been charged with second-degree murder. She previously pleaded not guilty in Vista Superior Court.
Although she had never engaged in B*SM s** before, the married mother told cops she was hired by the deceased to take part in such a session, as per an affidavit reviewed by The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Police allege Rylaarsdam arrived at the man’s Escondido home at about 6 p.m. in April 2023, and Dale ‘appeared intoxicated.’
“Despite that fact, Rylaarsdam decided to spend the next several hours with Dale and engaged in fetish behavior at Dale’s request,” the affidavit states.
About four hours later a 911 call was made, with officers arriving to find the OFs star performing CPR on the 55-year-old.
Dale was hospitalized and declared brain-dead the following day. He was taken off life support several days later.
Authorities allege he was suffocated. Dale’s cause of death was linked to oxygen deprivation of the brain.

The s**ual fetish encounter allegedly saw a bag around Dale’s head and a pair of women’s shoes glued to his feet, per his request.
The affidavit reports that detectives found ‘several troubling videos’ of the 55-year-old when Rylaarsdam handed over her phone.
It’s also alleged Rylaarsdam recorded the interactions to use as content for her OFs.
Police say Rylaarsdam denies putting a bag over Dale’s head.
Evidence reportedly indicates that Dale paid Rylaarsdam more than $11,000 to ‘have conversations with him, and to come to his house, tie him up and perform other acts of bondage.’
Deputy District Attorney David Jarman, who is prosecuting the case, stated the evidence supports a second-degree murder charge for the OFs star.
He said there was ‘no indication’ that Dale ‘asked her to obstruct his breathing.’
While Rylaarsdam’s defense attorney, David Cohen, said it’s ‘clear there was no intent to kill and no attempt to cover this up,’ and his client ‘acted appropriately when she realized this was a problem.’
“There is definitely a consensual element – not only something he consented to, something he was actively seeking,” Cohen commented.
